qwiQR is a free social networking and online business directory centered on Quick Response (or QR) code technology. QR codes enable anyone with a smartphone to quickly get to your information without having to type anything in. Each qwiQR profile comes with a 2D qwiQR code that contains your unique qwiQR profile URL encoded inside the image. Using any one of many barcode readers on any smartphone platform, others can scan your qwiQR code in seconds and get to your profile where they can get your phone number, email, website, social network links, etc.

To save and print your qwiQR code, simply click the Download my qwiQR button below your qwiQR code on your profile page ('My Profile' at the top). From there, depending on your browser, you can save it anywhere you like or it will automatically go into your Downloads folder. This PNG file is now accessible from your harddrive on your computer in the folder you saved it. From here you can use it as you would any image in anything you are designing or printing. Place your qwiQR code in business cards, brochures, on name badges... even on clothing! You can place it inside any design but be sure not to put anything inside the black/white square or touch any parts of your design to the black and white squares inside the box. Leave a few pixels of white space around the square code. You can also email to your printer/designer for them to add to any materials.

To scan and decode qwiQR codes, simply search "qr code" or a similar variation in your smartphone's app store and download any one of many free barcode readers. Once you scan the qwiQR code you'll be offered the option to go to the asscociated qwiQR.com web page or profile.
